  • Test charger connectivity and communication with DynaChrg's EVES™ Charging Station Management System (CSMS).
  • Learn and perform OCPP 1.6 and OCPP 2.0.1 protocol testing, including charger registration, status notifications, transactions, remote commands, configuration, firmware management, and meter values.
  • Capture, review, and troubleshoot OCPP messages, JSON payloads, network traffic, and communication logs.
  • Support testing of charging session authorization, RFID, remote start/stop, transaction processing, metering, and fault recovery.
  • Gain exposure to other EV charging technologies and protocols, including OCPI and ISO 15118, as applicable.
3. Electrical, Hardware & Laboratory Testing

  • Assist with laboratory setup, configuration, commissioning, and testing of EV charging equipment and associated hardware.
  • Perform supervised electrical and electronic measurements using appropriate laboratory instruments and approved safety procedures.
  • Support firmware installation, software updates, device configuration, network setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Investigate charger communication, connectivity, performance, and hardware/software interaction issues.
  • Assist with testing of charging behavior, power limits, load management, charging profiles, and energy-management functionality.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, test configurations, technical records, and documented testing procedures.
4. System Integration, Field Support & Collaboration

  • Support senior engineering staff during charger integration, system validation, and customer deployments.
  • Assist with on-site charger commissioning, connectivity verification, testing, and troubleshooting when required.
  • Work with the EVES development team to understand backend functions and translate technical requirements into test scenarios.
  • Coordinate with offshore QA teams to reproduce issues, review test results, and support validation of new features and fixes.
  • Prepare clear test reports, defect documentation, technical findings, and validation records.
  • Participate in technical investigations and continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and engineering workflows.
  • Be willing and able to travel and drive to customer locations, charging sites, and partner facilities as needed.
